How to create my own wishlist?

You create your wishlist, add gifts to it, and send a link to your guests. They view your wishlist and reserve gifts. Convenient for everyone and no more duplicate gifts. Below you can read step by step how it works.

    Register

    Register to get started. An email will be sent automatically so you can confirm your email address.

    Wishlist

    Add a wishlist. A title is enough. Later you can always add fun things like your own image and a personal introduction text.

    Presents

    Add gifts to your wishlist. A short description is enough. You can do lots of things to make it look nice, like images, web links, favourites, changing the order, and setting a price. You may also use the Gift Finder, adding presents with a single click.

    Invitation

    Choose your own unique link (e.g. https://mywishes.online/sarah-turns-30) to share your wishlist with friends and family. You can also password-protect it.

    Send

    You may send your invitation any way you want. Just provide your friends & family the weblink.

    You can e-mail them using your own e-mail program, send a WhatsApp message, or just put it on a printed card.

    In addition, the user undertakes not to use this website in a way that could overload or disrupt its systems.

    We reserve the right to delete user accounts from the database without notifying the user in advance, and exclude users from being able to use this website.

    Personal data protection

    Privacy is important, so we handle your personal data carefully. Your details help this website work properly. You can read more below.

    You can delete your account at any time. If you do, no personal information about you will remain in our database. If you don't delete your account, it will be kept for up to three years after your last login. This gives you the chance to reuse your wishlists. Before accounts are deleted, you'll receive an email so you can log in if you want to prevent deletion.

    Your email address is required for communication. That can be automatic, for example if you forget your password, you will automatically receive an email. It can also be manual, for example if you use the contact form. Some mail functions use Mailchimp and Postmark. You may occasionally receive a newsletter from us; of course, you can unsubscribe at any time.

    When reserving a present, you enter your email address. You can also choose to receive the gift information by email. When cancelling a reservation, you will be asked to enter your email address again. This helps make sure you don't accidentally cancel someone else's reservation.

    You can optionally enter your birth month in your account. This is only the month, not the day or year. Some time before your birthday, you may receive a reminder email to make a wishlist.

    Cookies

    We use cookies. Cookies are small harmless text files placed on your computer. For example, these cookies help keep you logged in on the website. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but this may limit how the website works.

    Cookies may also be placed by selected partners so they can allocate a small commission to this website if you make a purchase in a webshop. This does not increase the purchase price. Partner ads may also be shown.
